Bruno Mars says he would be happy to act on "Saturday Night Live" again, weeks after his first guest hosting gig, during which he dressed up as a teenage girl.

"Whatever 'SNL' wants from me, they can always call me," the 27-year-old Grammy-winning singer told the Associated Press. "I don't know who told them I can act or anything 'cause I can't. I don't know what they saw. (But) whatever they need from me, they can get."

Mars had hosted the October 20 live episode, performed his new song "Young Girls" and the single "Locked out of Heaven" and acted in several skits, including one titled "Haters," which spoofed raunchy daytime talk shows.

He wore a blonde wig, a pink top and skirt, a pink and white letter jacket, printed pedal-pushers, pink high-tops and large, golden hoop earrings and played a sassy teenage girl named Crystal who was described as a "17-year-old dropout who refuses to get a job." Bobby Moynihan played his character's mother and wore a skintight purple dress and strappy sandals.

"You're just jealous because I'm young and I got a debit card and I know where da party at," Mars said while dancing, snapping his fingers and shaking his butt. "Ya'll just mad because you ain't got this. You ain't got this. Quit hating, because Jesus made me perfect."

"I was like, 'Oh my god,'" he told the Associated Press, while talking about his reaction to watching the cross-dressing segment on TV: "Called my mom, 'Mom!'"

Mars first appeared and performed on "SNL" in 2010 in an episode hosted by "Glee" star Jane Lynch.

His recent "SNL" episode earned a rating of about 2.5 among viewers between ages 18 and 49 and was watching by more than 7.2 million people. At the time, it marked the second-highest ratings for the NBC show since Lindsay Lohan hosted the series in March. Her episode earned a 3.3 rating. The most recent episode, which aired on November 3, earned a 3.0 rating.
