Bruno Mars' sisters' WEtv reality show, 'The Lylas,' to premiere in fall
If you thought Bruno Mars was the only musician in his family, well, here's a surprise.
Mars' four sisters -- Jaime Kailani, Tiara, Tahiti and Presley Hernandez -- are set to star in their own WE Tv reality series, "The Lylas." The reality show, which was previously in development, has officially been greenlit.
The show is set to showcase the girls' daily lives, as well as their big move from Hawaii to Los Angeles. The series, which is set to consist of eight hour-long episodes, will also chronicle the girls' efforts recording their first ever studio album.
"The Lylas are fierce, independent women, leaving their home -- and in some cases their relationships and kids -- for a chance at pursuing their love of music," said Lauren Gellert, WE tv's senior vice president of production & development, said in a statement obtained by OTRC.com. "Their story is one filled with all of the drama and chaos that comes from making a major life change, with the added spice of doing it alongside your sisters."
The group just released their first single -- "Come Back" -- and corresponding music video. The single is available on iTunes, while the video is available on YouTube (Listen to the song below).
"Move Over, Assorted Kardashians. Bruno Mars' Four Sisters Are Reality TV's Latest Thing," reads a Glamour magazine headline, reTweeted by Kailani.
The show is set to air on Friday nights in the fall.
