Britney Spears' new song, 'Work B----,' gets release date
Britney Spears is ready to have all eyes on her and has shared the release date of her new single, "Work B----."
The singer tweeted the announcement to her more than 31 million Twitter followers in a series of tweets, saying, "RED RED RED HOT RED ALERT: Work B---- is going to premiere WORLDWIDE this Monday, Sept. 16th at 6pm ET. You can listen on @iHeartRadio or your local radio station."
The former judge of 'The X Factor' followed the tweet with another announcement, saying, "Work B---- will be available on @iTunesMusic that night at 12:01 am ET, Sept 17th. Are you ready?! #YouBettaWorkB #1Week."
The news of the single, to be included on the singer's 8th studio album, comes just days following the filming of the song's music video, to which Spears tweeted, "EPIC EPIC 3 days shooting #WorkB---- in the desert with Ben Mor. Thanks for braving the heat with me. #NextLevelVideo :)."
Spears shared photos with her fans from the video set over the weekend. In one Twitter picture, she wears a bikini, while an Instagram photo shows her dancing on the video set in a black and gold bustier and black elbow-length gloves.
She said of the shoot, "Hot day on set. ;) A little dirty, little flirty, dance my A-- off. Stoked for tomorrow!"
In addition to the release of her new single, the "Scream & Shout" singer is reportedly set to headline a show at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino for an extended residency, although this has not been confirmed officially. Spears' website currently features a countdown clock containing only her name and the title "All Eyes on Me," set to expire on Sept. 17.
