Britney Spears celebrates 'Glee' episode with a pink TV cake
Britney Spears celebrated her recent Glee tribute episode, which earned the FOX musical sitcom its highest ratings yet, with a cake.
She tweeted a photo of the concoction, which was made to look like a pink television set and sent to her by Candie's. Spears had designed a fashion collection for the brand earlier this year.
"Thank you @CandiesBrand 4 helping me celebrate my Glee episode," Spears said. "Next time send a bigger cake! Ha.."
The show featured the glee club members performing Spears' hits "Baby One More Time", "Stronger", "I'm a Slave 4 U", "Me Against the Music", and "Toxic", the latter of which causes a pseudo "sex riot" during a school rally.
Spears appeared in person several times throughout the Tuesday episode.
John Stamos also made one of what is said to be several guest appearances as Carl, a dentist who has stolen the heart of Will Schuester's love, Emma Pillsbury. Stamos recently told OnTheRedCarpet.com he is "having the best time" on the show and said the cast was "everything you would want them to be."
It was reported earlier this week that Gwyneth Paltrow, who showcases her musical chops in the new film Country Strong, is also set to guest-star on the show and will play a teacher. She even gets to belt out several solo songs.
