Bristol Palin puts Arizona home up for rent months after she bought it
Bristol Palin has listed her new five-bedroom home in Arizona for rent months after she purchased it.
The the 20-year-old, who is the daughter of Republican ex-governor of Alaska Sarah Palin, and her son Tripp are gearing up to move in with actor Kyle Massey and his brother Christopher for a BIO Channel reality show with that is being shot in Los Angeles and is set to air later this year. The two were contestants on ABC's "Dancing With The Stars" last year.
Bristol Palin bought her 3,900-square foot house, located in Maricopa, for $172,000 in November 2010 and recently put it up for rent for $1,400 a month. The property contains five bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms. It was built in 2005 and has a brown tiled roof, a private yard, a patio and a three-car garage, according to real estate listings.
The home is unfurnished but does contain a large refrigerator, stove and over the range microwave.
The BIO cable channel had said in a statement to OnTheRedCarpet.com on May 9 that it has ordered 10 half-hour episodes of the series, which has yet to be named and which follows the single mother's journey from Alaska to Los Angeles and her work at a charity.
Palin and Massey became "extremely close" while they appeared on the 11th season of "Dancing With The Stars" last year, the BIO channel statement said.
Massey, 19, is known for his roles on Disney Channel shows such as "That's So Raven." His brother Christopher, 21, starred on the Nickelodeon series "Zoey 101." Massey placed second on the ABC ballroom dancing series, while Bristol Palin came in third. Jennifer Grey took home the trophy.
