Bradley Cooper shared a funny story about his recent trip to the White House when he appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" recently.

The 39-year-old actor revealed that he's been gaining weight for an upcoming role and so far has gained approximately 15 pounds in four weeks.

Marvel has released the first image and plot synopsis for its new sci-fi superhero movie "Guardians of the Galaxy," which shows a raccoon voiced by Bradley Cooper as well as actors Zoe Saldana, Chris Pratt, wrestler Dave Bautista and Vin Diesel in character.

The cast members stand in a lineup in the photo, posted on Twitter on New Year's Eve. Pratt plays Peter Quill, an American pilot who "finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt" after stealing an orb coveted by the villain Ronan, played by Lee Pace, according to a statemement by distributor Walt Disney Studios. Saldana stars as Gamora, Bautista plays Drax the Destroyer and Diesel portrays Groot.

Bradley Cooper plays an FBI agent with an agenda and a head full of curls in "American Hustle."

The film reunites Cooper with his "Silver Linings Playbook" co-star Jennifer Lawrence and director David O. Russell. Cooper portrays FBI agent Richie DiMaso, a hot-headed and agitated character who aims to take down several New Jersey power players with the help of con-artists Irving Rosenfeld, played by Christian Bale, and Sydney Prosser, played by Amy Adams.

Bradley Cooper will be lending his voice to the new Marvel film "Guardians of the Galaxy."

Marvel confirmed on Friday, Aug. 30, that the Oscar-nominated actor will voice Rocket Raccoon in the film. "Guardians of the Galaxy" marks Cooper's first voiceover role.

Jeff Bauman Jr., who lost his legs below the knees in the Boston Marathon bombing, recently received a hospital visit from Bradley Cooper and New England Patriots receiver Julian Edelman.

The NFL star posted on his Twitter page late on Thursday, April 18, a photo of himself and the Oscar-nominated "Silver Linings Playbook" star standing next the 27-year-old survivor, who is lying on a hospital bed while holding a football and giving a thumbs-up.

Bradley Cooper's roommate of two years is a "cool chick" ... and also happens to be his mom.

The 38-year-old Oscar nominee talked about his mother in an interview published in Details magazine's May 2013 issue, which features him on the actor. Cooper described how he and his mom, Gloria, were there for each other after her husband and his father, Charles, passed away in 2011 at age 71.

Bradley Cooper appears to be one step closer to playing the controversial cyclist Lance Armstrong in J.J. Abrams' upcoming biopic.

On January 22, Cooper told BBC News that he would love to play Armstrong in a film about the disgraced cycling champion's life, adding: "I think he's fascinating. What a fascinating character."
