Bobbi Kristina Brown spotted getting close with 'adopted brother' Nick Gordon
Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of late singer Whitney Houston and singer Bobby Brown, was recently spotted holding hands and hugging her "adopted brother" Nick Gordon, sparking rumors that the two have become romantically involved.
According to People magazine, 19-year-old Brown and 22-year-old Gordon got close while going out for food in Atlanta on March 13.
However, Gordon told ABC News on March 14 that the two are not dating. "We're just close -- just going through her mom's passing and grieving together," he said, according to the news outlet.
Though Houston never adopted Gordon, her brother Michael told ABC News that Gordon was "like a son" to Houston, who took Gordon in a decade ago after learning that his birth mother could no longer care for him.
Gordon reportedly talked about his relationship with Bobbi Kristina Brown on his Twitter page, however, the account has been stripped of nearly of its Tweets.
Bobbi Kristina Brown's Twitter page was filled with reTweets of fans supporting the two if they did come out as a couple.
It was reported earlier this month that everything in the singer's will was left to Bobbi Kristina Brown. The 19-page document was originally filed in Atlanta, Georgia on February 3, 1993, a month before Bobbi Kristina was born. It was amended in April 2000, while the singer was still married to Bobby Brown.Bobbi Kristina is the only daughter of Houston and Bobby Brown, who wed in 1992 and divorced in 2007. Houston had sole custody of Bobbi Kristina following the divorce.
On February 12, Bobbi Kristina Brown was hospitalized "to be treated for stress and anxiety," a source close to the family told OnTheRedCarpet.com.
Following her hospitalization, Bobby Brown released a statement obtained by OnTheRedCarpet.com which read, "My daughter Bobbi Kristina is doing much better. We continue to provide love and support to Bobbi Kristina. She is dealing with the tragedy of her mother's death and would prefer to do it outside of the public eye. I ask again that our privacy be respected."
Investigators have not revealed what killed Houston, who was found unconscious and underwater in a bathtub by a member of her staff. Her autopsy has been completed but the results will not be released until a toxicology report is produced.
