Bob Dylan signs deal to pen six more books?

Bob Dylan has reportedly signed a deal to pen six books, including two follow-ups to the rock singer's 2004 best-seller "Chronicles: Volume One" and a collection of riffs from his SIRIUS XM satellite radio show.

The 69-year-old's literary agent Andrew Wylie had been looking for an eight-figure offer for such a deal, Crain's New York Business reported.

He and Dylan have not responded. A spokesperson for publisher Simon & Schuster declined comment.

Meanwhile, Dylan is keeping busy gearing up for a tour of Australia, which is set to start in April. Tickets for the general public go on sale on January 31.
