Bo Derek is making a brief return to television with a role on "CSI: Miami" set to air on February 19.

The actress, who is known as a sex symbol due to her role in "10," will guest star on the episode as the owner of a horse ranch where a murder takes place.

The 55-year-old actress told Entertainment Tonight, "It was a good fit."

"I've been out here to the ranch many times," Derek said of the set where the episode was shooting. "The owner is a friend of mine and I sold them a horse I haven't seen in 8 years."

"We've had great people and she's an example," series star David Caruso said. "She is a living legend. You're standing with Bo Derek and that's a testament to maybe 'CSI: Miami.'"

The episode centers on a murder with members of a sorority as suspects.

Derek previously acted on series like "7th Heaven," " Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place," and "Fashion House." She also appeared in the 2011 television movie "The Hunt for the I-5 Killer." She is likely best known for her role in the 1979 comedy "10," with Dudley Moore and Julie Andrews. The film has an iconic image of Derek running on a beach clad in a tan bathing suit and her hair braided in cornrows. She also appeared in the comedy "Tommy Boy."

In 2002 she published her autobiography "Riding Lessons: Everything That Matters in Life I Learned from Horses."

Derek's episode airs on February 19 at 10 p.m. on CBS.
