In 2008, Ali Vincent began her "Biggest Loser" journey at 234 pounds. At the show's fifth season finale, she stepped on the scale weighing 122 pounds. She stepped off the scale, down 112 pounds, as the first female to win the NBC weight loss competition show.

Back then, she was focused on diet and exercise, but now, her focus is changing. Although eating right and staying active are priorities in her life, she also wants to make sure she is enjoying herself... in her words, "I want to live big every day."

Vincent's show on the Live Well Network, "Live Big with Ali Vincent," kicks off its third season on July 13. The new season will she her taking on a series of "Live Big" adventures and just like on "The Biggest Loser," she is taking on the challenges with her mother, Bette-Sue Burklund.

Vincent spoke with OTRC.com about life after "The Biggest Loser," the new season of "Live Big with Ali Vincent" and spending non-stop time with her mother. Check out 5 facts she revealed.

1. Her victories and struggles five years after winning "The Biggest Loser" ...

"I use to say maintenance was easy -- tedious but easy," Vincent told OTRC.com. "All I had to do was burn what I ate. However, over the last couple years, as I incorporated huge goals like the Ironman and having to train so extensively, it wasn't as easy. The last thing I wanted to do was count every calorie and I felt like I was working so hard, I definitely was exhausted, that I out ate my training and gained unwanted weight. Don't worry though -- I'm getting it under control!"

2. "Live Big with Ali Vincent" is all about "crazy adventures"

" I get no warning," she said. "I just show up and they expect me to do them. It's awesome. Now I need to be ready and excited for whatever comes my way."

"Before 'The Biggest Loser,' I use to worry about what was coming my way because my body and fitness level was such a factor," she added. "What's great now is that even if I'm scared and I choose not to do something, it's NOT because of my body. My body no longer holds me back! Oh, and by the way... I haven't chickened out of any challenge yet."

3. Spending 24/7 with her mother can be a challenge

'Living Big' for me is sharing it with people I love, so I decided to bring my mom this season," Vincent said. "I want my mom to realize that although she's lost the weight she could work on her fitness and then she will truly feel liberated. At times I must admit I second guessed the idea of involving mom since being with your mother 24/7 can lead to unforeseen encounters. You will see mom and I go at it a few times, but overall, it is great spending time together."

4. The most outrageous moment of the new season of "Live Big with Ali Vincent" ...

"Wow, it's tough to pinpoint the most outrageous moment because there have been so many," she said. "If I had to say based on laughing, it would be when my mom fell off the mechanical bull. In fact, when I watched the first episode, they had to stop it because I laughed so hard, I started to cry. It's out of control. Sorry, Mom."

"As for me, when the producers ask me to perform in one way or another and all my insecurities and fears take over, that's when I think things get outrageous," she added. "You know when people are just watching you. The producers got me a couple times this season, but I'm glad. If I was left to my own devices, I would have snuck out the back door then regretted it."

5. What Ali Vincent hopes people take away from watching "Live Big with Ali Vincent" ...

"I hope people start to look at their life and acknowledge where they are 'Living Big' and where they are holding back, then have the courage to do something different so that they can live life to the fullest," she said. "It's a work in progress and I think it's comforting to be able to see in others, my mom and myself, so that it's easier to spot in them."

"If you really want to live big, tell everyone that crosses your path, friends or strangers, how you want to live big!" she added. "You just never know who will step in to support you -- the universe works in mysterious ways!"
