Beyonce issued a handwritten apology letter to fans and posted it on her website after she was forced to cancel her May 14 concert on doctor's orders.

The 31-year-old singer canceled her performance in Antwerp, Belgium, due to dehydration and exhaustion. A spokesperson for Beyonce released a statement and explained that the singer was advised by her doctors to rest.

In her letter, which can be viewed above, the singer writes, "To my dearest fans in Antwerp, I've never postponed a show in my life. It was very hard for me. I promise I will make it up very soon. I'm sorry if I disappointed you."

"Thank you for your concern. I'm feeling much better now and I'm ready to give you a great show," the letter continued. "See you tonight."

Beyonce is currently on her Mrs. Carter World Tour and is set to perform in Antwerp on Wednesday, May 15. The canceled concert only fueled rumors that Beyonce is pregnant with her second child. However, Beyonce has not commented on the reports.

The singer expressed in a May 6 interview on "Good Morning America" that she would like to have more children and that her daughter Blue Ivy "needs some company."

"I would like more children," Beyonce told "Good Morning America" correspondent Amy Robach. "I think my daughter needs some company. I definitely love being big sister. At some point, when it's supposed to happen."

In related news, Beyonce's longtime friend and fellow Destiny's Child member, Kelly Rowland, released a new song called "Dirty Laundry" on Wednesday. In the song, Rowland reveals that she was once jealous of Beyonce's solo success.
