Beyonce unharmed in car crash in London, report says

Beyonce Knowles narrowly avoided injury last week in London when a taxi whizzed by her car and ripped the door off its hinges after she opened it near the luxury department store Harrods, the British newspaper The Sun reported.

The black cab missed the singer by inches as it collided with her chauffeured Mercedes Benz S-Class. Knowles had planned to do some shopping before heading out to a Japanese restaurant with husband Jay-Z, it said, adding that a replacement vehicle was sent after the incident to take them there. The singers have not commented on the report.
