Beyonce HBO documentary teaser trailer debuts - See video
A teaser trailer for Beyonce's HBO documentary hit the web on Tuesday, December 4, and in it, audiences can see some candid moments from the singing superstar including her bare baby bump.
"I always battle with how much do I reveal about myself," Beyonce says in a voice over in the beginning of the 25 second-long clip, which can be viewed below. "If I'm scared, be scared and allow it. Release it."
HBO describes the documentary as "a multi-faceted portrait of the 16-time Grammy Award-winning singer, businesswoman, songwriter, actress, entrepreneur, wife and mother, showing off the extraordinary gifts that have made her a global phenomenon, and stripping away the veneer of stardom."
The documentary, which was directed by Beyonce, is said to include first-person footage shot by Beyonce on her laptop as she reflects about her life in the spotlight and becoming a mother. The singer serves as the film's executive producer.
"Everybody knows Beyonce's music, but few know Beyonce the person," said Michael Lombardo, president, HBO Programming, said in a statement recently. "Along with electrifying footage of Beyonce onstage, this unique special looks beyond the glamour to reveal a vibrant, vulnerable, unforgettable woman."
The documentary is set to debut on February 16. In October it was confirmed that the singer will appear at Super Bowl XLVII on Feb. 3, 2013.
