Bethenny Frankel, who has opened up in recent months about her pending divorce from Jason Hoppy, reunited with her former flame over the weekend ... sort of.

The 42-year-old reality personality and Hoppy, who are currently embroiled in a less-than-amicable divorce proceeding, reunited for their daughter Bryn's third birthday party, according to People magazine.

Bethenny Frankel has started the divorce process to end her marriage to husband Jason Hoppy after two years.

Frankel reportedly filed paperwork in New York earlier this week according to People magazine. A spokesperson for Frankel had no immediate comment on the report. The couple announced their separation in late December.

Frankel, 42, and Hoppy are calling it quits after three years of marriage, according to People magazine.

The season 3 finale of Bethenny Frankel's show "Bethenny Ever After" aired on May 28 and while the big reveal at the end of the episode featured Frankel telling her staff about moving to Los Angeles for her six-week trial run of her talk show, there were hints that she and husband Jason Hoppy were prepared to expand their family.

Frankel scored a deal for a six-week summer trial run for a talk show, which films in Los Angeles. The show launches in six markets on several Fox affiliates on June 11.

Bethenny Frankel has expanded her Skinnygirl empire to include shapewear, which the reality star calls her "lazy lingerie."

The line, Skinnygirl Solutions is available at Macy's department stores and features tanks, shorts and bodysuits under the $50 mark, which feature retro shapes and lace prints that don't need to be completely hidden.

Bethenny Frankel gave the "Anderson" audience an eyeful when she had a major wardrobe malfunction on the talk show.

The reality star challenged Anderson Cooper to a push-up contest and accidentally flashed the audience her pink underwear as her dress flipped up in the back. Anderson giggled as Frankel turned bright red and asked the audience, "How'd I look? Did you see the pink?"

Bethenny Frankel stopped by "The Today Show" on February 20 to talk about the upcoming premiere of the third season of her reality show "Bethenny Ever After," and discussed a recent miscarriage.

Frankel, who came to fame by starring on "The Real Housewives of New York" for three seasons, revealed she was recently pregnant for eight weeks before she had a miscarriage.

Bethenny Frankel has final spoken up against claims that she grossly inflated her Skinnygirl cocktail acquisition payday.

This week, The Huffington Post reported that Frankel received $8.1 million selling her Skinnygirl cocktail line to Beam Global in March 2011, as opposed to the previously reported $120 million. An accusation which the reality star and Beam Global has since denied.

Bravo is coming to the defense of Bethenny Frankel, one of the network's top reality stars, was accused of lying about being stranded at sea in mid-September.

The 40-year-old said that she, her husband, Jason Hoppy, her therapist and the crew of her current Bravo cable network series, "Bethenny Ever After," were on a sailboat that drifted off course near the coast of Maine. She said they were lost at sea for 20 hours, adding that the GPS system broke and the coast guard had to guide them back to shore.

It's been a rough week for several members of "Real Housewives of New York," but former cast member Bethenny Frankel had the most harrowing experience after getting lost at sea.

"Scariest trip ever.did sailing trip w jason & my shrink.was sposed to be 8 hrs.was 24.we hit wave,GPS broke.coast guard had to guide us back," Frankel wrote on Twitter on September 17, following her rescue.

Bethenny Frankel is already a New York Times best-selling author with diet and self-help books like "A Place of Yes" but it seems the Skinnygirl chef is branching out to a new genre and is eager to tackle fiction writing.

The "Bethenny Ever After" star has signed a three-book fiction deal with Touchstone Fireside and is set to release her first fiction book called "Skinny Dipping" next spring, reports USA Today.
