Ben Flajnik, the most recent star of "The Bachelor" and the show's winner Courtney Robertson announced on Friday that they have called-off their engagement.
"It's true," Flajnik told People magazine on October 5. The pair, who met on season 16 of the ABC reality dating series, has not elaborated on the reason for their split.
"The Bachelor" reached its final episode of season 16 on Monday, March 12 and Ben Flajnik made his final decision on whose hand he would ask in marriage.
On the episode, which aired at 8 p.m. ET, Flajnik chose between finalists Lindzi Cox and Courtney Robertson and popped the question in the picturesque Swiss mountainside (See spoilers below).
Lindzi Cox, who was rejected by Ben Flajnik on the season 16 finale of "The Bachelor," says she feels bad for winner Courtney Robertson and would not be mean to her if she saw her again, despite the nasty things she said about the other contestants on the ABC dating show.

After surviving "The Bachelor: The Women Tell All" special, Ben Flajnik told OnTheRedCarpet.com that "no man in his right mind" would go through the experience.
"Only because I'm under contract, no one in his right mind would agree to do anything like that," Flajnik told OnTheRedCarpet.com co-host Chris Balish. "At the end of the day, it's all about chemistry and timing for me and the reason those women were sitting on the stage tonight was just because of that. We didn't have that in those moments - it's really all because of that... It's so hard to say why things didn't work out between you and that person."
