Ben Flajnik talks 'Bachelor' skinny dipping: 'I dropped my pants, it was my own doing' (Video)
Fans of "The Bachelor" might have gotten an eyeful of the latest bachelor, Ben Flajnik, in a recent promotional spot for the series 16th season premiere.
The former "Bachelorette" contestant is seen in the promo below with a woman on the beach stripping down to go skinny dipping and host Chris Harrison explained every season of the show brings a new surprise for him too.
"That's one thing I love about hosting a show is everybody's different, everybody brings their own baggage, their own history, their own family, their own relationships, religion," Harrison told OnTheRedCarpet.com recently. "Every time you go through it, it's completely different and you can't treat Ben like you do another bachelor because he's not the same. No one else showed their butt like he did."
"I dropped my pants, it was my own doing," Flajnik chimed in. "Thanks for all the lunge exercises. I appreciate that."
However, Harrison joked he wasn't too excited to get to know Flajnik that way. "I've been doing this show for at least ten years and out of all of the beautiful women, thousands that have been on this show, the person that decides to drop trou and be naked on the beach is Ben," he said. "A Dude. Really? After ten years, this is the thanks I get? Ben's butt!"
Flajnik replied, "If I recall there was a female there too though. So ... no. When a beautiful woman invites you to go skinny dipping, on the beach, you say yes."
Flajnik was confirmed as the bachelor for season 16 in September. The 28-year-old winemaker from Sonoma, California had fallen for recent "Bachelorette" star Ashley Hebert and made it down to the final two. He proposed but she picked J.P Rosenbaum over him. They are now engaged. (Check out a recap and photos from the finale.)
Now Flajnik will take a chance on finding love through the reality show and have his pick of 25 women to find "the one." Meet the 25 contestants here and check out some sneak peek photos from the premiere.
"The Bachelor" season 16 premieres on January 2 at 8 p.m. on ABC. Check out the skinny dipping scene in the video below.
