Honey Boo Boo Child's mother has slammed reports that the family only earns $4,000 an episode on their TLC reality series, "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo."

The series focuses on 7-year-old Alana Thompson, the young beauty-pageant contestant from 'Toddlers & Tiaras,' better known as Honey Boo Boo Child. The show also follows her eccentric Georgia family including mom June, father Mike "Sugar Bear" and her older sisters Lauryn "Pumpkin," Anna "Chickadee" and Jessica "Chubbs."

Alana Thompson, the young beauty-pageant contestant from 'Toddlers & Tiaras,' better known as Honey Boo Boo Child, nabbed her own series on TLC called "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" which premiered its first two episodes on Wednesday, August 8.

The series highlights not only the high-energy 6-year-old but also her eccentric Georgia family including mom June and her older sisters Lauryn "Pumpkin," Anna "Chickadee" and Jessica "Chubbs." A day after Miss Rhode Island, Olivia Culpo, was crowned Miss USA on June 3, one contestant claimed the fix was in.

Sheena Monnin, who participated in the contest as Miss Pennsylvania USA, posted on Facebook on June 4 that she was resigning from the Miss Universe Organization, which she claimed was "fraudulent."

The mother of "Toddlers & Tiaras" star Isabella Barrett has filed a libel suit, accusing three entertainment outlets of "sexualizing" her 5-year-old daughter.

The suit was filed in Manhattan Supreme Court on January 23 and names the parent companies of entertainment websites TMZ, the Huffington Post and the UK's Daily Mail. The suit accuses them of "falsely claiming that she was gyrating in a nightclub and singing about her sex appeal," according to legal documents obtained by OnTheRedCarpet.com.

Former Miss USA Rima Fakih, who won the pageant in 2010, was arrested on DUI charges in Highland Park, Michigan this weekend.

According to People magazine, Fakih Tweeted on Saturday, "Let's clear things up now. ... I'm NOT in Michigan and I'm NOT in jail! Wrong Fakih." But has since removed the post and her attorney Doraid Elder confirmed the arrest to the weekly on Sunday.
