Beau Bridges sports long hair in the new George Clooney film "The Descendants" and did not have to look far to find help to tame his unruly locks. "I had to braid it every morning," his wife, Wendy, told OnTheRedCarpet.com host Chris Balish at the recent Los Angeles premiere of the film. "My workouts, everything, would have to be around getting his hair braided. I do a French braid, a low braid. He's find me on my hikes and go, 'I need my hair braided!'" Bridges, 69, said he eventually "got tired" of having long hair. In "The Descendants," the actor plays Hugh, the shady cousin of Clooney's character, Hawaii man Matt King, and tries to pressure him to sell a chunk of land he inherited. King must also deal with raising his two daughters after his wife is injured in a boating accident and slips into a coma. Shailene Woodley plays one of King's daughters. She told OnTheRedCarpet.com that Clooney is a "super human" and helped her become a "better person." Clooney told OnTheRedCarpet.com that while "The Descendants" has many tricky emotional scenes, he wouldn't describe his acting work as "hard." "Look, I cut tobacco for a living for a while in Kentucky - that was hard, you know? I sold ladies shoes in a department store - that was hard," Clooney said. "This [acting] isn't a hard job in those terms. Was it tricky? Sure there were elements of it that were difficult to do, it's not hard." Amara Miller, who plays King's youngest daughter, Scottie, told Us Weekly at the premiere she doesn't think the actor would make a good father in real life, adding: "George has fun being an adult, and I don't think he would like having kids. I know that he's not planning on having kids anytime soon." Miller has never appeared in an on-screen production before filming "The Descendants." "Amara, the youngest one, had never done anything, even in school," Bridges told OnTheRedCarpet.com. "No school plays. She just came straight out."
