Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli has joined Facebook and is jumping for joy. Topless.

The 26-year-old posted a photo of herself doing just that on her new page on Tuesday, May 1, a day after the account was activated. In the picture, taken on a beach, she wears bikini bottoms and a big smile and holds her hands over her chest while airborne. Rocks on the sand spell out "GO BAR."

Responses poured in by fans, including Zipi Refaeli, who wrote in Hebrew, her native language: "I love you the most in the world!"

Zipi Refaeli is the name of her mother, who is also her manager.

The photo was taken in Lanzarote in Spain's Canary Islands during a photo shoot for the magazine ELLE Spain, which features her nearly naked on the cover of its May 2012 issue. She also posed with her bikini top on as well as in a body-hugging, long-sleeved gown that showed off her curves.

"I hope you love the issue as much as I loved working on it and doing it and let's make it once a year," she said, wearing a sweatshirt, in a YouTube video posted on the outlet's official page.

Refaeli, who has appeared in Sports Illustrated's annual Swimsuit Issue, recently launched her own underwear line, Under.Me. She has also added another project to her busy schedule.

"I'm shooting a movie... It's basically- 2 hours work and 10 hours wait a day!!" she Tweeted on Wednesday, without elaborating.

The supermodel, who is also known as the ex-girlfriend of actor Leonardo DiCaprio, has appeared in a 2011 independent drama film called "Session" and on an Israeli television show in 2005.

Refaeli has been active on Twitter for a while and used the social networking service to promote her new Facebook page. Using both outlets, she posted a link to a fundraising page for a 27-year-old Israeli man who needs a kidney transplant. He replied, "Thank you, thank you thank you!! From all my heart," and temporarily changed his Facebook cover photo to a screenshot of her Tweet.
