'BUCKWILD' star Salwa Amin arrested on drug charge - See mug shot
"BUCKWILD" cast member Salwa Amin has been arrested and is facing a drug charge.
The 24-year-old was arraigned on Monday, February 11, in Nicholas County Magistrate Court on a felony charge of possession with intent to deliver, The Associated Press reports. She is currently being held at the Central Regional Jail on $200,000 bond.
"BUCKWILD" is a half-hour series about a group of friends living in West Virginia. MTV announced on February 6 that the network picked up the show for a second season. The first season finale aired on February 7.
The show was the No. 1 original cable series on Thursday nights in the 12 to 34 viewer age group and had an average of 3 million viewers an episode.
As spokesperson for MTV told the wire service that the network did not have any comment on Amin's arrest.
