Is there something going on between the bad boy rocker Axl Rose and indie pop singer Lana Del Rey?

The two were photographed and videotaped leaving the Chateau Marmont, a hotel and a popular celebrity hot spot in West Hollywood, on Friday night. They have not commented about it.

The 50-year-old Guns N' Roses singer, dressed in a long-sleeved white shirt with sunglasses clipped on his collar, ripped jeans and a hat, walked behind Del Rey as paparazzi snapped away. The 25-year-old, dressed in a long-sleeved denim shirt over a white one and blue jeans, then got into the back seat of a black vehicle. He appeared to try to follow her inside before slamming her door and entering the front passenger side instead, as seen in a video posted on TMZ. An unidentified man sat in the driver's seat.

"I don't think they're dating," Guns N' Roses guitarist DJ Ashba told TMZ. "Axl's really a cool dude and he likes hanging with cool people. I think they were just probably buddy-buddy, hanging out."

Del Rey had attended two Guns N' Roses concerts in Los Angeles in March. Rose is the only remaining original band member. In the video shot near the Chateau Marmont, Rose was also asked about the prospects of a Guns N' Roses reunion tour with the original lineup. The singer, who is the only original band member, said: "Not in this lifetime."

Guns N' Roses in its current form is not as popular as it was in the 1980s and 1990s, when it released hits such as "Sweet Child O' Mine," "Don't Cry," "November Rain" and "Paradise City." Guitarists Slash and Izzy Stradlin, drummer Steven Adler and bassist Duff McKagan quit or were ousted from the bang amid drug issues, legal disputes and creative differences.

Guns N' Roses is set to be inducted into the the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland on April 14 by fellow rock band Green Day. Rose and his group join newcomers that include the Red Hot Chili Peppers and the Beastie Boys. It is unclear if other original Guns N' Roses members will join Rose at the ceremony, which would mark the first such reunion in about 20 years. Rock Hall inductions of the past have brought together former members of groups such as The Police and The Eagles.

If Axl and the other guys will consider doing it, it would be a dream come true for me," Adler told Rolling Stone, when asked about a stage reunion, adding: "The drama hasn't stopped for 25 years. I don't foresee it stopping, but I know there's love between all five of us. I know there is. Not just four of us, five of us. Five. We owe it to the fans. The LEAST we can do is give them one great performance."
