Ashton Kutcher is No. 1 on Forbes' Highest-Paid TV Actors list
Ashton Kutcher, who replaced Charlie Sheen on the CBS sitcom "Two and a Half Men" last year, was named No. 1 on Forbes' 2012 list of Highest-Paid TV Actors.
Kutcher earned about $24 million between May 2011 and May 2012, the financial news outlet said, adding that he also makes money from previous investments he had made in tech companies such as Skype, Spotify and Airbnb.
After he was fired from "Two and a Half Men" in early 2011 and underwent a public meltdown, Sheen went on to star in his own sitcom, "Anger Management," which airs on the cable channel FX and has been renewed for at least 90 more episodes.
Sheen did not make Forbes' list this year. Sheen had at one point earned $1.25 million for each "Two and a Half Men" show, which broke a Guinness World record for "Highest Paid TV Actor Per Episode. In 2011, Forbes ranked him No. 1 on its Highest-Paid TV Actors list, with estimated annual earnings of $40 million.
