"Twilight" alum Ashley Greene's rented West Hollywood condo caught on fire on Friday, March 22, and rescuers were able to save one of her two dogs, a report says.

It is unclear if Greene was home at the time of the blaze, which erupted around 9:30 a.m. local time. The cause remains undetermined, OTRC.com has learned. The actress lived in the condo with her two small dogs, Theo and Mario. People magazine reported that the pets were inside when the fire eruptedand that rescuers saved one of them.

The ladies of "Twilight" certainly turned heads at the premiere of "Breaking Dawn - Part 2," which is believed to be the final film in the vampire franchise.

The event took place on Monday at the Nokia Theatre L.A. While the "Twilight" stars are gearing up for a busy weekend of promoting the vampire franchise's final film at San Diego Comic-Con, several of them are also mourning the unfortunate death of a dear fan.

Gisela Gagliardi, a 53-year-old "Twi-Hard" and resident of Kingston, New York, suffered a fatal head injury after she was hit by a car while crossing the street against oncoming traffic, according to police. She was trying to preserve a place in line at the popular convention on Tuesday, The San Diego Union-Tribune quoted fans as saying.
