Ariel Winter, an actress likely best known for her role as Alex Dunphy on "Modern Family," showed off her singing talent in a YouTube video posted on January 23.

The 14-year-old actress covered Taylor Swift's hit song "I Knew You Were Trouble" and was accompanied by an acoustic guitar. The video can be seen below.

"Hi, I'm Ariel and I'm doing a cover of Taylor Swift's 'I Knew You Were Trouble' and I hope you like it," she said at the beginning of the video.

Winter isn't the first actress to take on Swift's song. Selena Gomez and a few of her friends did their own choreographed dance to the song in December and Gomez eventually sang a cover of the song at a UNICEF charity concert on January 19.

Swift released her own video for the song in December where she is seen snuggling up to a bad boy rocker and she sports a punk-inspired look. The song is off Swift's recent album "Red."

Winter made headlines in the past when she was removed from her mother's home after her older sister, actress Shanelle Gray, claimed their mother subjected Winter to physical and emotional abuse.

Gray was granted temporary guardianship of Winter and it was extended in November at a hearing where it was revealed that the L.A. Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) found that the allegations of physical abuse were inconclusive. In December, it was determined that Gray would remain Winter's temporary guardian after Gray reached agreement with their mother on the matter.
