Anne Hathaway appears skinnier, despite saying that it is not 'advisable'
Anne Hathaway has appeared skinnier in recent months, despite saying that it is not "sustainable", "advisable" or "enjoyable".
The 28-year-old, who is promoting her new film, "Love and Other Drugs", with co-star Jake Gyllenhaal, showcased protruding bones in her neck and shoulders as she donned a strapless mini dress in New York on Thursday, as seen in photos published The Daily Mail, a UK newspaper.
Hathaway is also known for films such as "The Devil Wears Prada" and "The Princess Diaries". In "Love and Other Drugs", Hathaway plays Maggie, a free-spirited woman who falls in love with a pharmaceutical salesman, played by Gyllenhaal, who also starred with her in "Brokeback Mountain".
"It's a sexy love story," Hathaway told OnTheRedCarpet.com earlier this month, adding that she helped pick out fluorescent bras for her character to wear.
"My mom sat me down the other day," Hathaway said. "I could tell she wanted to talk about something and then she said, 'So, 'Love and Other Drugs'&" And I'm like, 'Yes?' And she goes, 'How much nudity? How much sex?' And I'm like, 'Mom - it's a lot.'"
