AnnaLynne McCord is now a brunette - like her new look?

AnnaLynne McCord, who plays snobby Naomi Clark on the CW teen drama series "90210," recently traded in her blonde locks for a new brunette look.

The 23-year-old actress showcased her new hairstyle at an intimate cocktail party to celebrate the launch of the Joseph Abboud watch collection at the Sunset Tower Hotel in Los Angeles on Thursday, June 16.

McCord said on her Twitter page earlier this month that her new hair color is for a movie she's currently shooting and added that she is not leaving "90210," which recently ended its third season.

McCord is set to star in the crime drama film "Officer Down" with David Boreanaz from the shows "Bones" and "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" although the actress did not specify if this was the movie in question. The film also stars Stephen Dorff, James Woods and Dominic Purcell from the series "Prison Break" and is set for release in 2012.

At the Joseph Abboud watch collection party, McCord posed for photos with actor David Arquette and well as with her "90210 co-star Trevor Donovan, who is not returning as a series regular when the show returns for a fourth in the fall.

"True Blood" stars Joe Manganiello, Nelsan Ellis and Chris Bauer and actor Ryan Phillippe, actress Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Kevin Jonas from the Jonas Brothers also attended the event (check out photos from the event).
