On Monday, the remaining seven celebrities left in the ABC ballroom competition series performed individual dances with their partners and six pairs also took part in a dance-off with another couple, while Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough received immunity for their cumulitive high scores.

Several new phrases define this week on "Dancing With The Stars": "Latin Week," "immunity," and "rule book." Are they making these twists up as we go along this season? Apparently (according to co-host Brooke Burke anyway), there is a "DWTS" rulebook somewhere. It needed to be referred to a couple times during this week's show, and while those of us watching had several eye-rubbing moments, we also saw puzzled looks on several contestants faces as this night played out.

Spoiler alert!: On Monday, April 15, the "Dancing With The Stars" cast participated in the "Side by Side Challenge," which consisted of each set of competitors training all week with another professional dance duo -- which featured former cast member Maksim Chmerkovskiy. On Tuesday, April 16, the second star was eliminated from the dancing competition's 16th season.
