Emma Stone is clearing up the rumors surrounding her strange Tweets.
The 24-year-old actress, who is set to appear in the upcoming animated Disney film "The Croods," talked to Ryan Seacrest about her recent, cryptic Tweets, revealing on the morning show that she was never the one pressing send.
"The Amazing Spider-Man 2" has found its Norman Osborn, according to reports.
Chris Cooper has been cast in the sequel as the head of the Osborn family, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The character of Norman Osborn is notable because he is the alter ego of one of Spider-Man's most notorious villains -- the Green Goblin.
Dane DeHaan, formerly of the show "In Treatment," will play Harry Osborn in the sequel to "The Amazing Spider-Man," director Marc Webb has confirmed.
The new film, officially titled "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," is the second installment in Webb's trilogy that is based on the hit Marvel comic series. DeHaan joins fellow newcomers Jamie Foxx, who will play Spider-Man's enemy Electro and alter ego Max Dillon, and Shailene Woodley, who will portray Mary Jane Watson, a spokesperson for distributor Sony Pictures confirmed to OTRC.com.
"The Descendents" star Shailene Woodley is reportedly in talks to star in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2."
The 20-year-old actress would star opposite fellow Golden Globe-nominee Andrew Garfield in the film, as his character Peter Parker's red-headed love interest, Mary Jane Watson, according to Variety.
Andrew Garfield is gearing up to don spandex for a second time.
The 29-year-old actor gained widespread attention in July, when he starred in the highly-anticipated Spider-man reboot "The Amazing Spider-man." The actor and the film's director, Marc Webb, are set to return for a sequel to the superhero drama, Columbia Pictures announced on September 28.
Emma Stone went from indie darling to blockbuster babe when she signed on to do "The Amazing Spider-Man," but the new stars aren't the only changes for the franchise.
"It's in 3-D, which is new - that's literally, visually more! But there's also, we go from the very beginning when he was orphaned and all through his first love who we didn't, I mean we met her in 'Spider-Man 3,' but this is a very different version of Gwen, so going through all of that and Dr. Connors and the Lizard... there's a lot in this one."
Andrew Garfield might have mixed feelings about donning a spandex body suit for "The Amazing Spider-Man," but the English actor took on the challenge with respect for the beloved superhero.
"It was an honor to be so uncomfortable," Garfield told OnTheRedCarpet.com at the film's Los Angeles premiere on June 28.
Emma Stone showcased several chic looks at premieres of her new film "The Amazing Spider-Man" in five major cities around the world over the past week.
In Berlin, Germany, on Wednesday, June 20, the 23-year-old wore a white, custom-made, long-sleeved chic Andrew Gn cocktail dress with a criss-cross design across her chest, matching strappy Christian Louboutin "Armadillo Bride" d'Orsay sandals and gold Repossi statement jewelry.
"The Amazing Spider-Man" star Andrew Garfield managed to keep his off-screen romance with Emma Stone private, but now the actor has opened up about how happy he was when his Gwen Stacy was cast.
The pair, who have been romantically linked since June 2011, met during a screen test for the upcoming superhero movie. While decked out in full hair and makeup, the pair read a few scenes and the chemistry was immediately apparent.
Emma Stone and her "Amazing Spider-Man" co-star and rumored boyfriend Andrew Garfield are set to be presenters at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards.
Also presenting Awards will be Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth, Charlize Theron, Michael Fassbender, Mila Kunis and Mark Wahlberg from some of the summer's most highly-anticipated films like "Snow White and the Huntsman," "Prometheus" and "Ted."
Emma Stone is seemingly on top of the world, currently starring in three major movies and donning dozens of magazine covers, but the quirky actress has even bigger aspirations and they include Mexican food.
"I have dreams of being a producer, being behind a camera, eating seven tacos for every meal, and making movies that affect people the way they affect me. I don't even need to be in them," Stone told Teen Vogue in their September issue.
