The 21-year-old actress and musician is this year's choice for Miss Golden Globe, a title usually given to a child of a famous actor or actress. The person helps out at the annual Golden Globe Awards ceremony.
"She is a talented and beautiful young woman," the Hollywood Foreign Press Association's president, Dr. Aida Takla-O'Reilly, said in a statement. "We're excited to have her as part of this year's show."
Qualley appeared in the film "Mighty Fine." She is also working on her first album, according to the group.
Previous Miss Golden Globe participants include Demi Moore's daughter Rumer Willis in 2009, Jack Nicholson's daughter Lorraine Nicholson in 2007 and Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith's daughter Dakota Johnson in 2006.
