'America's Next Top Model's Eva Marcille talks 'Girlfriend Confidential: LA.'
She had her first brush with fame as the season 3 winner of "America's Next Top Model." Now, Eva Marcille is one of four best friends featured in the Oxygen docu-series "Girlfriend Confidential: LA."
"'Top Model' was my launching pad but this (series) is about who I am, what this really is and how it is I truly get through it," she told OTRC.com.
In "Girlfriend Confidential LA," Eva is joined by actress Denyce Lawton, interior designer Nikki Chu and talent manager Kelly Marie Dunn. They navigate the ups and downs of the entertainment industry and all of life's little moments.
"Look, they call me a prude," Kelly Marie Dunn joked about her co-stars. "I think they're vulgar. We meet somewhere in the middle, and we make it work."
As the close-knit foursome face big decisions about their careers and their love lives, Marcille says "Girlfriend Confidential: LA" is "showing the world as far as our relationship as girlfriends, is something that is usually a secret. It's usually something that the rest of the world isn't privy to."
"Sometimes, your brother doesn't know that you actually have a circle of friends, that literally support you the way they do, that aren't blood-related," she said. "I think it's kind of like opening up Pandora's Box and letting the world know what it is we have had, and hold so dearly."
"Girlfriend Confidential" wraps up its first season on Monday, October 8 at 11 p.m. ET on Oxygen.
