'America's Next Top Model' 15th cycle finale: Who should win?

12/01/2010 by Kristina Lopez

The 15th cycle of "America's Next Top Model" draws to a close on Wednesday and one contestant stands to walk away with a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl Cosmetics, a contract with IMG Models, and will be featured in a fashion spread in Vogue Italia. The competition is down to 23-year-old Idaho native Chelsey Hersley and 19-year-old Texan Ann Ward.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Ward is a shoo-in. "Ann is this season's breakout star, beginning the cycle with a five-show best picture streak unprecedented in Tyra-town," according to the paper. "Her waifish face, slightly large ears, and super-tall super-skeletal frame endeared her to fashion houses and photographers."

However, the paper does contend that Hersley, though not as strong in the competitions, still has a shot at earning the title. "Chelsey, on the other hand, is closer to the normal 'Top Model' winner. Her ice-blond hair and enhanced gap-tooth smile give her a little edge in photographs, and she's a better catwalker than Ann."

In the final round the ladies will have to impress legendary fashion designer Roberto Cavalli on the runway. Cavalli will be serving as a guest judge on the final panel.
