'America's Got Talent' winner Kenichi Ebina gets $1M, Heidi Klum kiss
"America's Got Talent" season 8 was won on Wednesday by solo dancer Kenichi Ebina, who will receive a $1 million prize.
The 39-year-old entertainer, who is originally from Japan and describes himself as a "multi-media performer," later received kisses behind the scenes from co-judge Heidi Klum (see more PHOTOS).
In second place was standup comedian Taylor Williamson, who jokingly made sad faces after the show. Ebina splits his time between New York and Tokyo, where his family lives.
"I want to thank my wife and my daughter being supportive all the way through and my mom, brother, sister and all my friends and all of the fans who support us. Crazy," he said after being named the "America's Got Talent" winner.
On the episode, accompanied by a small orchestra, Ebina performed a dance to "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" from "The Lion King." After he was done, British operic pop group and Heather Headley, an original cast member of the Broadway musical based on the Disney film, performed the song on stage.
The finale also featured performances from iconic group Earth, Wind & Fire, Josh Groban -- who performed with finalist opera trio Forte, and Gavin DeGraw, who sang with finalist Cami Bradley.
