09/01/2011 by Olivia Allin

Lauren Bush, 27, granddaughter of President George H.W. and niece of President George W. plans to wed David Lauren, son of legendary designer Ralph Lauren on Sunday in Colorado.

The wedding is slated to take place at Ralph Lauren's Double RL Ranch in Telluride, Colorado. According to Page Six, the dress code will be "black tie with a Western twist."

'it's coming together," Bush told OnTheRedCarpet.com about her wedding, during an interview to promote the FEED Project with beauty products company Clarins (see above video). "It's an exciting, very special time."

The bride's dress was designed by her future father-in-law and Vera Wang, who also collaborated on the designer's daughter Dylan Lauren's wedding gown.

Among the 200 guests will be Bush's grandfather George H.W. and former First Lady Barbara Bush.

To avoid adopting the name Lauren Lauren, Bush will reportedly go by Lauren Bush-Lauren, according to Yahoo Shine.

Bush met her 39-year-old fiancé at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's fashion gala in 2004. The former model was studying anthropology at Princeton University at the time while Lauren was a Vice President at his father's fashion house.

Lauren Bush is currently a handbag designer and philanthropist, working on behalf of the UN World Food Programme on the FEED Projects, which uses proceeds from FEED bags and other products to get nutritious food to those in need.

Lauren is currently Senior Vice President, Advertising, Marketing and Corporate Communications at Polo Ralph Lauren, a position he has held since October 2001.

Lauren attended Duke University, where he studied Political Science and founded a magazine called Swing. In 2009, he was named one of Vanity Fair's Best Dressed along with Barack Obama and Brad Pitt.
