Amanda Bynes debuts new look on Twitter - See photo (Poll)
Amanda Bynes recently showcased a very different look.
The 26-year-old former actress, who has somewhat dropped out of the spotlight since her departure from acting, recently shared a photo that reveals a very new look. Showing off her curly blonde locks, heavy makeup and cheek piercing, the starlet can be seen looking into a MAC compact mirror and winking (See photo above).
In January, the starlet debuted a photo of her new cheek piercing on her Tumblr blog. The photo, which has since been removed, showcased a blonde Bynes smiling with the sparking stud placed where a dimple would appear.
More recently, Bynes has been taking to her Twitter account to post "selfie" photos of her changing looks. In February, Bynes appeared in a picture donning big sunglasses and big hair, which she captioned, "Back to blonde!"
The starlet, who has become known as of late for her traffic run-ins with the law, resolved two misdemeanor hit-and-run cases in December that occurred in early 2012 after she and the drivers she was accused of hitting reached civil settlements.
On April 10, a person told police that Bynes rear-ended their car on a Los Angeles highway and fled the scene. She was not arrested. Prosecutors reopened the case after a second one surfaced in early August, when a Los Angeles woman told police that Bynes rear-ended her on a busy street in the San Fernando Valley area and fled the scene.
Following the two incidents and a separate arrest in West Hollywood over a suspected DUI, Bynes lost her driving privileges.
Bynes has stayed away from the press in the past few months but she did tell People magazine in a phone interview in late September she is "doing amazing," adding: "I am retired as an actor. I am moving to New York to launch my career. I am going to do a fashion line. I am not talking about being arrested for DUI because I don't drink, and I don't drink and drive. It is all false."
Bynes rose to fame as a child star with a role in the Nickelodeon series "All That" and later appeared in movies such as "What a Girl Wants," "Hairspray" and "Easy A."
