Alexis Stewart, the daughter of domestic diva Martha Stewart, has some harsh words for the way she was raised by the home media star.

The 46-year-old claims in a new book titled "Whateverland" Learning to Live Here," that she "grew up with a glue gun pointed at my head," according to People magazine.

Alexis Stewart is the only child of Martha Stewart and her ex-husband Andrew Stewart. She also used to host the Sirius Satellite Radio show "Whatever with Alexis and Jennifer" until June 2011. Alexis Stewart became the mother of a baby girl, named Jude, via a surrogate mother in March.

Alexis Stewart also writes in the book that her mother "used to make me wrap my own presents. She would hand me things right before Christmas and say, 'Now wrap these but don't look inside.'"

She also reveals that the family did not celebrate Halloween, "There were no costumes. There was no anything. We turned off all the lights and pretended we weren't home."

Alexis Stewart also allegedly writes that her mother is a hoarder and had "a very hands-off approach to child rearing." However, Stewart might not hold too much of a grudge towards her mother as she dedicated the book to Martha Stewart.
