Alexis Bellino leaving 'The Real Housewives of Orange County' after 3 seasons
Alexis Bellino of the Bravo reality show "The Real Housewives of Orange County" says she's ready to move on.
"After three seasons of appearing on 'The Real Housewives of Orange County,' I have made the difficult decision not to return for season 8," Bellino said in a statement to People magazine. "Although Bravo made me a very generous offer and I'm thankful to have had this experience, I will be leaving the show behind to focus on my family and other opportunities."
On the series, Bellino, 32, showcased her entrance into the workforce as a news correspondent, confronted her past struggle with an eating disorder and took part in plenty of heated arguments. The personality appeared on the show alongside her husband, Jim Bellino, and the pair own Sky Zone Trampoline Park in Anaheim, California.
"I am so grateful to have gone through this amazing journey and to have met so many incredible fans," her statement continues. "My heart is at peace and I remain so excited for my future."
The blonde reality personality also Tweeted a link to the People article, adding: "To my fans, I felt it necessary to answer your questions & concerns regarding rumors. Thank u for your love & support."
The show airs on Bravo, and the next season is rumored to feature Gretchen Rossi, Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Vieth-Barney and Heather Dubow. Season 8 is set to debut in the spring of 2013.
