Alanis Morissette welcomes baby boy

Alanis Morissette and singer-songwriter Mario "Souleye" Treadway welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Ever Imre Morissette-Treadway, on December 25, Christmas Day.

Morissette, 36, and Treadyway, 30, married on May 22 at their Los Angeles home after being linked together since at least 2009. She announced in August that she was pregnant and said last month she was expecting a son.

"All are healthy and happy," Morissette's spokesperson told People magazine.

Morissette, a Canadian rock singer, was most famous in the late 1990s with hits such as "Ironic", "You Learn" and "You Oughta Know", an angry song about a breakup.
