Adam Sandler: I should be able to take Al Pacino, 71, in a fight (Video)
Adam Sandler jokes that he should be able to win a fight against "Jack & Jill" co-star Al Pacino, who is 71 years old.
The new comedy film showcases the hijinks that ensue when a man's twin sister comes to visit him during Thanksgiving. Sandler, 45 plays both siblings, Jack and Jill. Katie Holmes plays Jack's wife. Pacino plays a crazier version of himself.
"He hit me in scenes," Sandler told OnTheRedCarpet.com. "He'd say, 'Is that all right?' I'd say .. in the back of my head I'm like, 'How hard am I going to get hit?' I loved it. He did scare me, though. I gotta tell you, I don't know how old Al is, but I should be able to take him in a fight by now but I don't think I can."
In the film, Jack, a commercial producer, wants to cast him in a Dunkin Donuts ad. However, Pacino, who is dealing with a career crisis, is more interested in getting closer to Jill, whose spunky attitude he admires.
"Al Pacino is hilarious in the movie," Sandler said. "He's plays a psychotic version of himself that is having a nervous breakdown and needs his Jill to get him out of it."
"I play Pacino," Pacino had told OnTheRedCarpet.com. "So I made him a little bit nuts. He was pretty crazy during the shooting. He's pretty crazy in the movie so let's hope he's funny."
"Jack & Jill" is set for release on Nov. 11, 2011. Check out a trailer below.
