Adam Sandler to throw holiday party for 5,000 guests, report says
Adam Sandler plans to throw an annual holiday party for 5,000 select guests, mostly friends and filmmaking colleagues, who will enjoy ice skating, bowling and a performance from the actor himself.
Sandler, a 44-year-old comedian who has starred in films such as "Happy Madison", "The Wedding Singer" and "Funny People", penned the hit "Hanukkah Songs" that name Jewish actors and will play with studio musicians Waddy Wachtel and Jeff Lynne at the event, which will take place at a lavish garden facility often used for corporate gatherings, The Hollywood Reporter said.
Hanukkah, the 8-day Jewish "Festival of Lights", began on sundown on Wednesday. Check out a video clip of Adam Sandler performing one version of his "Hanukkah Song" on the sketch comedy show that made him famous, "Saturday Night Live".
