Adam Levine has gone on a rampage this year, lashing out at "American Idol," MTV and now he has voiced his opinion on Fox News.

The Maroon 5 lead singer wrote on Twitter on Wednesday, "Dear Fox News, don't play our music on your evil [expletive] channel ever again. Thank you."

32-year-old Levine didn't specify what prompted the outburst against the conservative-leaning news network. His spokesperson had no immediate comment.

Fox anchors Greg Gutfeld and Andy Levy from "Red Eye With Greg Gutfeld" responded to the Tweet with their own messages.

"Dear @AdamLevine, don't make crappy [expletive] music ever again. Thank you," Levy responded, adding later, "Maroon 5's bio strangely fails to note the band was developed by the CIA as part of its enhanced interrogation techniques program."

Gutfeld went on a Twitter rant, calling Maroon 5's music crap in five different ways. The pair also commented on Levine on "Red Eye," a clip can be seen below.

Levine made headlines earlier in the year for bashing "American Idol," accusing the Fox music competition series of keeping their gay contestants in the closet. He also called out the MTV Video Music Awards, calling it the "one day a year when MTV pretends to still care about music." Maroon 5 won a Video Music Award in 2004 for Best New Artist.

Levine wrote on Twitter in August after lashing out at MTV, "I may be a pop singer. but every once in a while the angsty teenager in me just blurts out some raw honesty. it's a reflex."

Previously the singer, who also serves as a coach on "The Voice," criticized "American Idol," claiming the reality competition series "masks" its contestants' sexuality.

"The Voice" had four openly gay contestants this season, which included finalists Beverly McClellan and Vicci Martinez. Levine's contestant, Javier Colon, ultimately won the competition.
