Rapper 50 Cent recently commented on Kanye West's newest song for girlfriend Kim Kardashian and seems to have, perhaps inadvertently, called the reality star "trash."
The 36-year-old rapper made his comments to XXL magazine, commenting on West's new song, "Perfect Bitch," which he said is about Kardashian.
Rapper 50 Cent was recently hospitalized after being injured in a car crash on a New York highway.
According to the 36-year-old's website, ThisIs50.com, a Mack truck rear-ended a bullet-proof SUV carrying the rapper as they drove on the Long Island Expressway, often referred to as the LIE, late on Monday, June 25. Photos of 50 Cent lying on a stretcher, wearing a neck brace, and shots of the damaged vehicles were posted there as well.
Rapper 50 Cent worried fans this week when he shared photos of himself in a hospital bed and complained about an unnamed surgery.
"I'm in the hospital but my gangsta grillz LOST TAPE is done so it will be out on time," 50 Cent Tweeted on Wednesday, referring to a mix tape he collaborated with DJ Drama on, which is due out on May 22. He added later, "I don't want to go into surgery."
50 Cent placed a large bet on the New York Giants and San Francisco 49ers NFC championship and apparently won big.
"Sometimes I hear voices in my head they tell me thing. Like bet on the GIANTS so I listen now look," the rapper wrote on Twitter on January 22, along with a photo of him with stacks of money on his shoulders.
After dodging rumors since November, Chelsea Handler has finally admitted to Piers Morgan that she dated rapper 50 Cent, "very casually."
The rapper and the host of E! talk show "Chelsea Lately", were photographed looking cozy at a New Orleans bar back in November and famously fueled the rumors on the social networking site, Twitter, posting racy photos and vague allusions to the relationship.
50 Cent told Piers Morgan recently that his "life-changing" moment was not when his first single "In Da Club" topped the charts back in 2003, but rather when he got shot nine times at point blank range in 2000.
The rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, was left with multiple injuries from the shooting including a cracked hip, shattered bones and shrapnel in his tongue.
Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson launched a comedy website on Thursday, ThisIs50Comedy.com, with the help of comedian Young Jack Thriller, Entertainment Weekly reports.
The comedy site joins Jackson' entertainment site, ThisIs50.com and will be hosted by Thriller, who is best known for "a series of fake and often offensive interviews with stars like Rihanna, Chris Brown and Michael Vick."
50 Cent is no stranger to controversy and now the hip hop star has lashed out against Interscope record label, threatening to withhold his new album and leak Dr. Dre's next single.
"Man I'm not releasing an album," 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, wrote on Twitter on July 26. "I can't believe Interscope is this (expletive) up right now. I apologize to all my fans."
Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson admit this week that he had performed for Muammar Gadhafi and will be making a donation to UNICEF.
"In light of the ongoing events in Libya, 50 Cent will be making a donation to UNICEF," Jackson's representation told E! News, "which is providing vital relief supplies to meet the needs of women and children at risk during this crisis."
Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson will star in an upcoming crime drama film called "Freelancers," playing the son of a murdered New York City police officer who joins the force himself in the vice crime task force and ends up on a team of "rogue Gotham cops," according to Variety.
The film will be directed by Jessy Terrero ("Soul Plane") who worked with the rapper previously on his MTV Video Music Award-nominated "Candy Shop." Filming is said to begin on March 28 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The extremely business savvy rapper 50 Cent allegedly earned $8.7 million from his Tweets over the weekend, according to the New York Post.
50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, encouraged his 3.8 million Twitter followers to invest in H&H Import. The rapper owns 30 million shares of the company, which is also selling the rapper's headphone line called Sleek By 50. The company also owns TV Goods, a marketing firm by "Shark Tank" reality judge Kevin Harrington
R&B singer Ciara dished on her romantic life on "The Wendy Williams Show" on Monday, addressing rumors that she and rapper 50 Cent are an item.
Host Wendy Williams came straight out and asked Ciara about her relationship with the rapper. "That's like my best friend. He's been my best friend for years. So it's definitely positive energy. That's pretty much the situation," the singer said.
