2012 Oscar Fashion: Tim Gunn makes his top picks - Do you agree?
Although Jennifer Lopez and Angelina Jolie's gowns sparked Twitter accounts and earned most of the buzz on the red carpet of the 84th Academy Awards, the two actresses didn't make "The Revolution" co-host Tim Gunn's list of Best Dressed Oscar Picks.
Gunn is chief creative officer at Liz Claiborne Inc. and is perhaps best known for his work as a mentor on "Project Runway." It is safe to say the man knows a thing or two about fashion.
So which star topped Gunn's list? Check it out below!1. Michelle Williams -- The Academy Award nominated actress who starred in "My Week With Marilyn," donned a red, strapless Louis Vuitton peplum gown with a structured bustier and a tiered floor-length skirt.
2. Octavia Spencer -- The Academy Award winner of "The Help" wore a white, beaded short-sleeved Tadashi Shoji gown and rounded out her look with a silver box clutch and silver drop earrings to match.
3. Tina Fey -- The Academy Award presenter wore a black, strapless Carolina Herrera gown.
4. Viola Davis -- The Academy Award nominee of "The Help" wore a custom Vera Wang emerald green corseted faille gown with floral crystal applique and draped chiffon pleated skirt.
5. Jessica Chastain -- The Academy Award nominee of "The Help" wore a black Alexander McQueen gown with intricate gold details.
